An interesting virginal by Alec Hodsdon of Lavenham made in 1961 was acquired for the Eric Feller Collection in March 2023. As one of the first makers of historical keyboard instruments in England, Alec Hodsdon is of great importance. He had a lasting influence on the revival of the construction of historical keyboard instruments and historical performance practice in Great Britain.
